I am alone

I was searching my college files. And I found the compilation of poems of tendrils 2005 the official Literary folio of Notre Dame of Marbel University. My Alma mater. I was struck by this poem that's why I want to post it..

I AM ALONE

When I speak
No one will listen
When I have done difficult things
No one will appreciate
When I share everything I have
No one will recognize
When I want to talk to anyone
No one will interact
When I speak about the truth
No one will believe
When I am making jokes
No one will laugh
When I wish to teach
No one will learn
And that makes me realize
I was alone
I am alone
No one care
No one will care...
