Leona Lewis Named Year's Best


The singing sensation who ging in her own version of footprints in the sand On top of her multiple Grammy noms, "Bleeding Love" singer Leona Lewis has a new honor to be proud of in '08!

On Tuesday, Billboard magazine named Leona its Top New Artist of the Year. According to Billboard, her credentials include being 2008's best-selling new artist and the year's fifth best-selling artist worldwide -- plus, "Bleeding Love" is the best selling single of the year.

The 23-year-old British beauty caps off her banner 12 months with three Grammy noms: Record of the Year ("Bleeding Love"), Pop Vocal Performance ("Bleeding Love") and Best Pop Album (Spirit).
