Yang Imee in yellow t-shirt were appointed as the organizer of our reunion this coming December. Cecile wearing blue polo were just arrive from Dubai after two years of working as medial technologist. Mae on white shirt is helping her mother to run their rice business. Kristine who wears grey blouse is currently working in the insurance company located at Davao City. Arriane Joy who is very charming and a joker to the group is a free lancer same with me. I can say we are successful in our chosen fields.

Two weeks ago I attended a birthday at the  same time farewell party of Kathy, whose a sister of my batch mate in high school. In that party I noticed Charish on what side of a corner. She was my school mate in one of the exclusive school in our town. She was one year older than me. I went to her post and start having a conversation. After ganda my pet gave birth to this beautiful puppy and I name him rockstar after my brother' motorcycle. For a week of fighting for his life he gave up. On one Sunday I found him lying in his mom's stomached not breathing. I was surprise and almost cried. To my rockstar goodbye.:'(

Nothing to do

Last night I can't sleep after the heavy rain. I went in the backyard and check what's happening. I saw my ducks, chickens, and dogs. I thought to myself, maybe this is the life of being single. I was amazed f this movie.  My brother called my attention to watch this movie. At first I was hesitant, I thought I can't understand because it was a Hindi movie. After watching this movie I shed a tear, they are not idiots. I can say they are smart  because they went to an engineering school and made good grades. Te story revolves in love, friendship and studies. Guys, I urge you to watch this movie. You will surely enjoy every moment of it.

A filipino is the new Guiness Shortest Man on Earth

I couldn't believe in  my two eyes while watching this news last night. A guy who is now 18 years old and his height was just like a one year old boy. It's unbelievable. I hope he will have a good life. His mother is worried because he received bullies from their neighbors. Look how popular this kid now.

KUDOS! TO DALLAS MAVERICKS FOR WINNING THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

I give credit to the most valuable player of Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitzky for job well done. Even though he didn't played well in game 6 but his team mates work as a team to win the championship. I cried when I learned that for 18 years of playing in the NBA they haven't won any trophy. Cheers! to Jason Terry  for leading the scorers, to Jason Kidd for the first time he won the championship after so long and he's the oldest player in the league.To Jose Barera for his outstanding shooting skills, To Chandler  Tyson for his rebounding and backs outing skills. Brilliant Voice

This is one of the video in the facebook that my friends keep on watching. Me too I can say that I was inspired by just merely watching how this young man grow up alone. He has exquisite voice that I can compare to Andrea Boccelli, a man who was blind and sing like an angel. I was stunned by Sung-Bong when he open his mouth and started to sing. I thought He was lost and just auditioning himself in the most popular talent show in the world. I learned that you cannot judge the person in his physical appearance but you have see his/her inner self.

I love playing poker

The only game I play in my Facebook account is poker. I enjoyed playing and chatting with my poker buddies. At first, It was difficult but later on as I watched on television and my brother played. I learn now how to play.  I met different people from different parts of the world. This game I considered as bonding time for me and m friends. Not only passing of the time.  How I wish  I can teach my best friend Mae how to play this game so that she can appreciate this kid of sports that I'm having fun to play.  

Back to School

Yesterday was the official opening of school year after three months of vacation. I'm pretty sure that the students are not that excited to come back to school. They still enjoying their vacation together with their family and friends. But some students are excited for their new school supplies which their parents prepared and bought to them. As I watched the news last night regarding of opening the classes. Same problem that the Department of Education, teachers, and students are encountering. The number of classrooms are not enough for the over populated students. Lack of teachers and their salary was not enough for eight hours of working. Education is the foundation of man's knowledge. How can you learn if the classroom is crowded?

Me and my friends on Saturday night

I'm so busy during weekend because of my household chores and I did some marketing for our store. I also went to public terminal wherein the ukay ukay or the second hand clothing were selling are being transferred to that particular place. I spend almost three hours of selecting in shoes,shirts,socks and shorts. But after those hours spent I only bought one shirt and four pairs of socks. I was tired not because of standing ad walking but the weather was so hot. I went home and update my facebook page. Then  I watched The last song by Miley Cyrus. After watching I received a text message from Clemen  that we will going out and for sure to have fun. I prepared myself instantly then they pick me up. We went to Koronadal City almost 9 in the evening. We went to EMR Center to watch the band performed live. I don't know what the bad name is. We drunk brandy then beer. We went home at 2 in the morning. We bought balut is boiled egg which is very poplar food in our country. After eating balut we bought ice cream. We enjoyed laughing and food tripping.

This is the first time I made chicken afritada. I woke up early in the morning and went to the market and bought  one half kilo chicken and 3 pieces of potato. Would you believe the kilo of chicken is P175 and the potato is P120. I was aware that the price of basic commodities are now increasing because of the crude oil market. How I wish someday the economy will become stable so that those people who could afford. I thank God for this blessing that he continues to shower upon us and to taste this delicious meal.

Dallas Mavericks won the Game 2 over Miami Heat

As always I'm all alone watching and cheering the Mavericks team.  The first quarter was not good because of the Dallas team effort was unsatisfactory. When the game continues until fourth quarter my hope was losing. The Miami leads by 15 points. The shooting percentage of Miami Heat was increasing. Especially one of their star player Wade was phenomenal in his shooting  and assist skills.  He reach 36 points in the fourth quarter, his highest points in the playoffs. While Lebron James was outstanding in driving the ball into the basket. His 3 points ability was great too.  But because of Dallas enthusiasm and their team effort to win game 2. I gave them credit for that. Sorry Heat fans, Dallas won this time:) See you in game 3. 

What's on my mind?

Hmmm..What should I post today?  There's a lot of issues to tackle problem of the Philippines, my life, my goal,my family and my friends.  As of this moment as I'm writing this post I haven't take a bath. Yucky! I woke up very late almost 7 a.m. because I was drunk last night.  My cousin Claire and husband Alejandro got  a chance to visit me. While Alejandro and I drink beer Claire told me that they bought a house and lot for 800 thousand pesos. The house was good according to the pictures that I saw in her facebook page. A small renovation will do so that it will be presentable. I told them well, after the blessing we can have party in your brand new house cousin. She immediately agree with me.

Count me in as one of the billion fans of NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (NBA). I woke up early today, did all my household chores as fast as I can. Turn on the television and get the (banig) a handwoven mat which we used in sleeping or sitting.  I get my pillow and whola! I have the best position. I called (ganda) the name of my dog to accompany while cheering on the Dallas. But after a few minutes of sleeping beside me, she will sneak in my room  to have her nap. When fourth quarter came and last two minutes, I'm so quite.  Wade just fired up in the second half and the 3 point shot made by James was the bell to awaken the sleeping players of Miami. Congratulations Miami but there's six games to go to proclaim the champion of 2011 Season.

Adobong Eggplant for dinner

I'm in the mood in cooking different Filipino recipes. Tonight I made Adobong Eggplant for our dinner.  I'm not good in cooking but trying my best to serve my family right.  Last night, I made some research in the internet and looked for the site that will help me fulfill my dream. When I found the site I immediately get my notebook and pen and jot down all the dishes that I want to cook for this week.  I want to practice cooking for my future preparation. Hey guys! Cooking is fun and It's not that difficult. Here's how to cook it: 

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups eggplant, cut into 2-by-2-inch pieces 1/4 cup vegetable or corn oil
1/2 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon finely minced garlic



Fry eggplant cubes in oil until brown. Set aside on paper towel to absorb the oil. In a
saucepan, bring vinegar, soy sauce and garlic to a boil and simmer for 6 minutes.
Add fried eggplant to mixture and cook for 5 minutes more, turning eggplant slices
several times. Serve hot.

I stand YES TO RH BILL

In my almost 27 years of existence, I surrounded by people who are religious. I grown up praying the rosary, knowing God and his miracles.  My Mom was our first teacher when it comes to values education.  Prayer is part of my life.  I was enrolled in one of the prestigious and religious school in our place. Now I'm following my Mom's footsteps in joining some religious organization. I'm glad I was accepted in the society.  I'm aware that the catholic church is fighting to demolished the RH BILL.  Every one is entitled in their opinion right? Well, as a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines I stand to pursue the RH BILL because it's not to promote abortion.  We are over populated that's why we experience poverty, unemployment even those who graduated from degree courses, those children who doesn't have food to eat in their table,and it will help our country to prevent crimes.  And its primary goal is to Provide for a Comprehensive Policy on Responsible Parenthood, Reproductive Health, and Population and Development, and For Other Purposes.

I love Pizza

I went to General Santos City yesterday to purchase the spare parts of our television. I consider our television as antique because we had that television when I was in elementary. If I'm not mistaken the year was 1994. More than a decade of service and for the first time it has broken. According to the electrician our TV was damage due to over heat.  For over a month that we miss watching TV. Mom doesn't want to buy a new one because it's not necessary in this time. Finding that 4 spare parts was difficult. I went to the different shops and my heart was pounding so fast every time the sales lady would say that they don't have it. It's like going to the place that no one knows you. But I believe in the saying that "no guts, no glory"that's why I'm very persistent in finding those parts. At the end of the day, there were only 3 spare parts available in all shops that I've been through. Sunday came, I went home and I made a stop over in Koronadal City to buy "pasalubong" to my  love ones left at home. I was curious in this pizza place located in national highway. The question that bugging me is that what's their pizza taste like?! When I got home, I'm so excited to taste it. My only reaction was hmmmmm..it was OK. 

Roselle's Garden

Last time I visited this beautiful house was one year ago. This house owns by my very good friend Mr. and Mrs. Romeo Purol. They have exquisite furniture and amazing surroundings. The air was fresh because of their fantastic garden which Roselle, Romeo's eldest daughter maintained it. Roselle is such a kind hearted, simple person that I've known in this planet. We just sit down and talk anything under the sun. Our friendship began last October 2009 when we join Parish Renewal Experience (PREX) in our Parish. Our friendship was tested last year. A friend in need is a friend indeed. That's the most important in friendship. To the Purol Family as always thank you for having me in your Home. I had wonderful time spending my weekend with you guys. I hope I'll see you soon.

When I was a kid

This was taken when I was five years old.  My mother bought me this telephone toy which it has four wheels. I used to play this toy with my playmates.  I drag it wherever I go.  There was a time I placed this favorite toy in my bed while a was asleep.  My playmates would laugh at me because I never lend my toy.  I was so self fish then, I thought of my toy as my precious collection.  I have my reason why I don't want anyone to borrow my toy because they will broke it and they will not say sorry.  Life as a kid is very fun. I had a chance to play with my peers.  It will scared me to death when Mom shouted out loud my name. She wants me to quit playing, instead help her in household chores.  My playmates sometimes doesn't understand my Mom why she keep on doing that. That time I feel humiliated in front of my playmates.  But in the long run, I understand what's my mom been doing.  She keeps telling me there's a time for everything. Now that I'm grown up I realize that being a kid is so fun. I had enjoyed my childhood.

My Bike Kathy

I always wanted to have a bike. My dad who own this bike for a decade. When I told him I wanted to burn my fats he offered his farm bike to me. The first time he handed this bike it, the seat was broken. The paint was starting to fall out.  I had to do something to make it presentable.  So to my eagerness, I spent two thousand pesos to repair the parts that is needed. After the finishing touches I was satisfied by it's result. Almost everyday I used my bike as means of my transportation. I can save time and money.  Not only that It help me exercise.  The best thing I feel when I go biking is that I it's one way to keep me relax.

The first time we set our feet in Bohol

This year's Holy Week my friends and I planned to have our vacation in Bohol. But prior to that date, we have discuss our plans. Mae(violet)my best friend since birth suggested that we will go to Ozamis city then proceed to Camiguin. I have been to Ozamis City but never been to Camiguin. What I want is to reach Visayas before i turn 30. Lord, thank you for the opportunity that you have given me to see the beautiful place that you created. Thank you to my Mom who provide me with my allowance, to my Dad and brother who help hand and hand to my work that was left when I'm having my vacation.

Single Life

After a four year relationship with my ex girlfriend, I notice to myself that I don't appreciate girls who are flirting with me.(boisterous) tsk! tsk! tsk! Maybe my mind stop telling me to love again. But my heart would say why don't you try again. Maybe there still someone out there for you. I'm so confused! If i'm going to like someone, the first feeling that i'll felt is scared.  Scared of commitment, scared of proving to everyone that I can have the girls I wanted, scared of rejection. I have experienced rejection, rejection in the family, rejection of friends, and rejection in love. Maybe I have a calling that it's better to be single than to be happy with some one else. Lesbians here in our community is not yet welcome in the society.  There are people who are close minded when in come to preferences of sexuality. I couldn't blame them.  I still believe in the saying that you cannot please everybody. But those close minded let me leave to you this question.  Why ca'y you be happy for us?
