While Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke say they are just thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents, they are also emphasizing the odds are heavily in favor of having a baby boy.
"Odds are it's a boy, but we'll be happy with either sex," Brooke tells People magazine at the weekend opening of Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant in Las Vegas. Sheen echoed his wife's statement, telling the magazine, "We're just hoping for a healthy baby, but there's a chance (for a boy) – odds are positive." Charlie's three other children are all girls.
Of the recent announcement of the pregnancy, Sheen said it was prompted by rumors already swirling. "It would have been nice to do it on our terms," he tells People. Brooke added: "We were hoping to be a little further along before news got out."The star-studded sushi bash in Las Vegas was the couple's first public appearance since her pregnancy was announced.
