Katie Holmes Storms Broadway in 'All My Sons'
Katie Holmes' play "All My Sons" was the top grossing production on Broadway for the week ending Sep. 28, bringing in a whopping $684,002.
The eagerly-anticipated Arthur Miller play took the top spot after eight preview performances and was the only non-musical production in the top ten grossing shows, the producers said.
"All My Sons," which also stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson, officially opens Oct. 16.
The play won the Tony Award for Arthur Miller in 1947 and ran for 328 performances on Broadway. It tells the story of a successful businessman who knowingly sells the government defective airplane parts during World War II and when the truth comes out, his life begins to unravel.
