Palin Thinks Obama Regrets Not Choosing Clinton for VP

Does Barack Obama regret choosing Joe Biden over Hillary Clinton for his VP pick? Sarah Palin thinks he does, and she's talking about it in the interview that is dominating political news coverage on TV.

"I think he's regretting not picking her now -- I do," John McCain's running mate told ABC News' Charles Gibson.

Palin also heaped praise upon Clinton, Obama's former rival in the Democratic presidential nomination race. "What determination and grit and even grace through some tough shots that were fired her way. She handled those well," the Alaska governor said of Clinton.

"Sarah Palin should spare us the phony sentiment and respect," said Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of the Obama campaign.

Clinton currently stumps for Obama but hasn't spoken out against Palin, whose VP nomination she described as "historic."
