On the 11th anniversary of Diana's death, ET takes a look back in pictures, at one of the most beloved and glamorous women in the world.

Diana died in a Paris car crash along with her companion, Dodi Al Fayed, on Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31st, 1997.

According to reports today in the British media, her sons Prince William and Prince Harry remembered their mum in private yesterday. Fans reportedly made their annual pilgrimage to Kensington Palace, her former home, leaving tributes tied to the front gates.
